THE FIVE STEP GUIDE TO Wedding Photography
STEP ONE: BEFORE YOUR SESSION
This is where we get to know each other a bit more. I love scheduling a time to chat on the phone with you. This is where we go over all the details together and review your wedding date, time, and location. We can discuss packages and any questions you may have.
STEP TWO: TWO WEEKS BEFORE YOUR SESSION
Two weeks before your wedding, you will hear from me again just to make sure you are all set for your BIG day. We will also make sure we go over the wedding day timeline. We will talk about the portraits that you want. If you are having me there for getting ready photos, what location and time? Are you doing a first look? What family members do you want to include? All of the specific questions to make sure your special day goes smoothly.
STEP THREE: DAY OF YOUR SESSION
Sessions start 10am on the day of the session. Please allow up to 4 hours for your session. We will start with any family or sibling shots first. From there I move to just baby and work with wraps and posing. If we need to break for feedings or other need we can! Please note the studio is kept very warm, this is for the comfort of the newborn and helps to keep them sleepy and poseable!
STEP FOUR: YOUR ORDERING APPOINTMENT
Oh! This is my favorite part! Once we are done photographing I will get to some editing to create a viewing gallery. Then we meet up again in about 2 weeks or less so you can view your newborn portraits and select which ones you'd like to be printed. I'll have a collection of the most popular products with me so you can see and I'll help you choose what's best for you.
STEP FIVE: PRODUCT PICK UP
About 4-5 weeks after your session, I will have received all your boutique products (more details on what is available below) and you will be WOWed when you see them in person! They are beautiful!
INVESTMENT
A signed contract and a retainer fee of 100 is required to reserve your newborn portrait date with Nicole Openshaw. The retainer fee includes your session date and time. Prints, products and digitals are additional.

WALL ART Your portrait printed directly onto high quality canvas material with the finest ink. Canvases feature a sawtooth hanger so your images can be displayed in a breeze. Hang individually or in one of our popular Wall Art Galleries. Wall Art starts at 200.
SIGNATURE ALBUMS The perfect way to receive portraits taken at your session! Each album is custom designed and lays flat when open. A variety of cover options are available. Albums start at $500
